Global Health Brigades at Berkeley is part of the world’s largest student-led sustainable development organization. We travel to Honduras twice a year to develop sustainable health initiatives and to provide relief where there is limited access to healthcare. Students can participate in a medical, public health, and/or water brigade. Visit globalbrigades.org for more information.
We welcome all majors! You do not have to speak Spanish or be pre-med to participate in a brigade. A DeCal course is offered to facilitate discussion about poverty and health outcomes in Latin America during spring semester. Apply online at gmb.berkeley.edu, for our brigades in January 2018.
